Interim CRO

Stabilisation in critical company phases

What is the function of an Interim CRO?

An Interim CRO (Chief Restructuring Officer) temporarily assumes a key position in top management in order to overcome specific challenges, cover a leave of absence, or pilot the company through a crisis.

Tasks and requirements:

An Interim CRO analyses the financial and operational situations, develops reorganisation and restructuring measures and conducts negotiations with banks, investors and creditors. They implement operative measures to boost efficiency, trim costs and ensure liquidity.

An Interim CRO normally has extensive professional experience, often at first or second management levels, and has ideally already successfully managed several restructuring projects in various companies. Solid knowledge in the fields of finance and accounting, controlling and tax matters is essential, as well as analytical and strategic capabilities, crisis management and leadership skills.
